Bed of Tulips Quilt
A quilter’s tribute to the glory of tulips and spring, this stunning quilt made in the Oriental Tulip pattern will take your breath away. The quilter’s choice of vibrant colors throughout the quilt, each paired with a secondary color, against the rich shade of yellow used throughout, makes this piece look like a glorious stained glass window. The edges were carefully cut, turned, and sewn into beautiful scallops. Some pencil guidelines are still visible in the negative spaces where the quilting echoes the geometry of the tulips. This quilt is in impeccable condition and will be forever a memory of spring love. She has been washed by hand and is ready to be a treasure in her new owner’s home.
