Pattern: Birds in the Air

Provenance/Notes:
A scrappy quilt with a wonderful variety of 19th century fabrics and colors pieced in triangular "flock-like" blocks against a warm dotted apricot background
The colors are reminiscent of a fall forest, with the two green blocks that pop like lingering summer leaves against the warmer colors
Notice the back fabric is a lovely soft flax color
Maker/origin unknown
Washed by hand and in excellent condition with just one or two tiny light marks
Measurements: 60" x 83"
