Pattern: Butterfly at the Crossroads
Date: c. 1900-1910
Provenance/Notes:
A perfect classic — elegant and cozy — and maybe that indigo quilt you’ve been looking to add to your bed linens. In excellent condition and ready to be your everyday heirloom quilt.
Beautifully pieced and quilted in a lovely pattern, made by the hands of an expert maker.
Tiny white buds dot the rich indigo fabric used throughout the butterfly blocks and in the narrow inset border.
Note the flowing feathered wreaths in all the negative spaces
This is a quilt with a soft hand and a great drape
Maker/origin unknown
Washed by hand and in excellent condition
Measurements: 79” x 83”
