French Blue Four Patch Quilt
Pattern: Four Patch
Date: c. 1920
Provenance/Notes:
A beautiful, crisp quilt that is reminiscent of a day at sea, with clean graphic blocks set against a faded french blue background
A lovely mix of mostly shirting fabrics throughout the four patch blocks
The back was made with a blue and cream micro check fabric and a sea blue trim was applied by hand around the edges
Maker/origin unknown
In great condition and washed by hand with just a few small light marks/stains (see last photo) and fading here and there.
Measurements: 75” x 76”
$20 flat rate shipping includes insurance coverage for the full purchase amount. Price for smaller items have been adjusted (lowered) to account for the lower shipping cost.
