Heirloom Mosaic Nine-in-Nine Patch Quilt

sold

Not many quilts display this level of workmanship, elegance, tradition, and modernity all in one. This incredible piece from the Packwood House Museum in Pennsylvania is the work of a master quilter and artist. The simple yet elegant Nine-in-Nine Patch pattern is pieced with a subtle yet wide variety of colors from browns to purples to yellows. The fine quilting details stand out just as much as the colored fabrics with the incredibly intricate feather quilting in the sashing around every block. Generously sized, this quilt makes a stunning bed cover; her weight and neutral colorscape make her a great piece to use year round. In wonderful condition for her 150 years or so of age, she has just a few tiny stains as shown and four small squares where a single type of fabric shows wear (see photos). A true heirloom piece to add to your collection and hand down for generations to come.

Measurements: 89” x 92.5”

$20 flat rate shipping includes insurance coverage for the full purchase amount. Price for smaller items have been adjusted (lowered) to account for the lower shipping cost.
