Scrappy Nine-Patch Quilt
The perfect scrappy quilt for cooler days or for those who like a touch more weight on their lap, this quilt was likely made to provide some warmth and comfort using scraps of leftover fabrics. She has a nice layer of batting, and contains some of the lovely shirting and calico fabrics we associate with early 1900s textiles, all framed by a gorgeous wide indigo blue border. She is in great shape for her age with just a few very small stains that blend away amidst her colorful landscape and a couple small open stitches on her trim (see last photos). She has been washed by hand and is ready for your love and snuggles.
