Scrappy Pinwheel Quilt
To fling my arms wide
In some place of the sun,
To whirl and to dance

A scrappy pinwheel quilt is always a crowd pleaser, especially when there are a variety of indigo and chambray blue fabrics in the mix. This one has a particularly lovely pop of sunny yellow and warm caramel that pop against the more neutral colors. The lightly patterned background fabric adds a special touch. She’s a beautiful and simple everyday quilt, made with soft cotton and with a bit of extra batting that makes her more of a medium-weight piece. Washed by hand and hung to dry, she’s ready to grace your bed. In great condition with just one block with some light wear and one small open seam (a simple mend) and a bit of light shifting of the cotton batting here and there. See photos. A beauty!
