Provenance/Notes:
This quilt contains all the beautiful colors of dusk in her striking combination of 19th century fabrics on a warm double pink background. Notice how vibrant the cheddar and red fabrics are and the wonderful black with pink and blue print squares!
The frame and back provide a lovely contrast to the body of the quilt — very soft and cozy paisley floral fabrics in gentle pink and lavender hues
Expert quilting throughout in small even stitches, particularly evident in the negative pink spaces
Maker/origin unknown
Excellent condition and washed by hand
Measurements: 71” x 72”
