Verdant Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt
There are many variations on the Grandmother’s Flower Garden pattern, and they are rendered on a variety of scales and proportions. This one is particularly beautiful for her small sized hexagons, which are individually quilted, and the generous use of green in all the in-between spaces. The choice of feedsack fabrics and colors throughout are beautifully arranged and the quilt has a wonderful texture from the dense quilting. Take a look at the image of her back which shows off the work! The quilt is in great condition with just a few tiny negligible stains, and a few marks on her back. She has some wear on her edges, just enough to show that she has been loved over her years. A wonderful quilt to bring spring into your home.
